The Art Tatum Legacy Olympic Records Stereo LP 7120 LP Columbia 360I just cleaned this double album on my VPI 16. 5 record cleaner and then played it on my Rega Planar Three. This is a historical record, originally recorded in 1939 on shellac. The pressing itself is very quiet and that is discerable between pieces. There are no technical faults with this pressing and any faults come from the source 78 records in this case. It is a faithful transfer of the 78 sources and, as such, sounds about as good as 78s ever do.

Side Four has a scratch which is not too-intrusive

It measured 58/50 where minimum (65%) is 40/40 and 100% is 62/62

This CD is in excellent shape

Transconductance measured 57 for Tube One and 65 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 36 and 100% is 55

This matched pair of Ken-Rad 6C6 tubes tested 46 and 50

Tube Two measured 25/1860

That song was a monster hit and defined an entire summer if my memory is correct

the centering pin is missing on Tube One and Tube Two's base is cracked
