The five year old expression has a 70% corn, 15% wheat, 15% malted barley mashbill, and is made from mashing through to bottling on site at the distillery. The team are aiming for a pre Prohibition style with a low distillation and barrel entry proof and we think theyve more than achieved it. A full bodied, well rounded bourbon thats

Nose: Rich and honeyed with a little hint of ripe figs

chocolate and latte foam

melon and gentle sweet spices

Palate: A smooth and creamy chocolate

some smouldering sweet smoke flavours arrive

using a vacuum to remove pressure within the stills allowing the temperature to fall -5°C where the distillate then boils

Nose: Coastal with soft seaweed and hints of sweet smoke add a layer of classic Lagavulin to the nose we all know and love but this dram is far more intriguing as it opens up in the glass to reveal dark fruits
