Drive-in Theater, Fredricksburg Texas Size:20x24 CanvasThis 87 Drive in Theater??photo is a black and white film print of a beautiful old abandoned theater in central Texas. You can see through the door in what used to be the back of the middle of the screen, leading to a place where for decades, cars parked and memories were made. Some of my favorite childhood memories were at drive in theaters. I don't know that I paid much attention to movies, mostly just sneaked around, made friends, and ate candy.

The film was damaged and turned out to be a great "defect" with light leak and numbers impressed on it from the 120 roll's paper

It's a dreamy nature print

I can't explain exactly why because there are so many awesome places

this tapestry features a mesmerizing depiction of the iconic Cholla Cactus

A great forest to wander through

However we had a lovely picnic inside one of the restored houses and enjoyed the effort that went into keeping them around

but for those willing to make the trek up the treacherous road

It left some interesting numbers and shapes on the photo and make it an especially interesting piece of art
